After working as a visiting researcher at Bellcore, New Jersey, USA for two years from 1990, in 1998 he became a professor at the Graduate School of Information Science and Engineering, the University of Tokyo.

Born in 1976. Graduate of Tokyo Zokei University and Institute of Advanced Media Arts and Sciences [IAMAS].
Has been developing and managing educational programs at the Yamaguchi Center for Arts and Media [YCAM] for 11 years since its opening in 2003. Developing and managing " outside the school” type education, such as media literacy and art education for the museum, planning educational programs, various community projects, and human resource development projects in collaboration with various companies through the deployment of workshops and facilitation methods.
Received the Kids Design Grand Prize through a series of original media workshops, and received the Agency for Cultural Affairs Media Arts Festival Good Design Award for the exhibition 「コロガル公園シリーズ」(Korogaru Park Series).
Specially Appointed Assistant Professor at GCL, University of Tokyo 2014-2019. Aichi Triennale 2019 / International Art Festival "Aichi 2022" Curator (Learning).
